I first became part of the Gainesville Empowerment Zone Learning Center as a parent. Over time, I developed a genuine love for the school, its mission, and the families it serves. That connection inspired me to join the team as a Food Prep Assistant.

In my role, I assist with preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the children each day. I take pride in helping ensure every child receives the nutritious meals and care they need to learn, grow, and thrive. Being able to support the children and contribute to a positive, caring environment is truly rewarding.

Before I became an employee at Gainesville empowerment zone learning. I was an VPK afterschool teacher. switched to become a VPK assistant teacher with GNV4ALL and in my role here I help assist the lead teacher with the kids by, helping clean and do arts and crafts and more. I take pride in helping others and insure they’re behaving themselves, I enjoy this job and love it.

I became a part of Gainesville Empowerment Zone in January of 2024 as the VPK teacher, and later went on to become the 3 year old teacher! Since being employed at Gainesville Empowerment Zone I’ve fell in love with the vision, the dedication to our families, and students! Being here has taught me so much about being apart of a community and a much greater cause! The bonds and relationships that I’ve have gained since being here, are some that I will cherish forever!
