Learning Through Exploration
At the Gainesville Empowerment Zone Family Learning Center we utilize the Creative curriculum by Teaching Strategies. This curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning, project-based investigations, and exploration to foster children's confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills. It moves beyond rote memorization and focuses on big ideas, meaningful experiences, and individual student needs and interests.

Dads on Duty & Momma Matters
Mamas Matter is a welcoming monthly gathering where mothers and caregivers can connect, share experiences, encourage one another, and discuss the joys and challenges of parenting in a supportive environment.
Dads on Duty brings fathers and father figures together to build stronger relationships with their children and with one another. From family activities and community outings to special events and fellowship, dads are encouraged to lead, serve, and create lasting memories.
