What Sets Our Classrooms Apart

Every classroom is designed with intention — grounded in strong relationships, purposeful curriculum, and partnership with families.

Creative Curriculum

We use Creative Curriculum to guide hands-on, intentional learning experiences. Children explore, investigate, and build early literacy, problem-solving, and confidence through meaningful play.

Nurturing Educators

Our teachers build strong, responsive relationships that help children feel safe and valued. When children feel secure, they are free to explore, grow, and thrive.

Whole-Child Focus

We support social, emotional, academic,

and physical development every day. Learning here nurtures confidence, independence, and curiosity.y.

Family Partnership

We believe families are essential partners in a child’s success. Through communication, collaboration, and shared goals, we grow greatness together.

Our Classrooms

Infants 0-1 Yr

Infant Creative Curriculum is a developmentally appropriate, play-based learning framework designed specifically for infants and toddlers. Rooted in research and guided by the individual needs of young children, this curriculum focuses on nurturing curiosity, encouraging exploration, and building strong foundational skills through responsive caregiving and sensory-rich environments.

Toddler 1-2 Yrs

Toddlers are on the move and full of energy. This is when they start to realize the world is bigger than just them — and that's a huge step. Our classroom supports their growing independence and language through hands-on play, simple routines, and lots of opportunities to practice new skills like stacking, pointing, saying new words, and learning to be around other children.

Early Preschool 2-3 Yrs

The Early Preschool Creative Curriculum is a thoughtfully designed, play-based program that supports the unique developmental needs of two- to three-year-olds. At this age, children are rapidly growing in independence, language, and social understanding. This curriculum fosters those skills through engaging, hands-on experiences that promote curiosity, creativity, and foundational learning across all domains of development.

Preschool 3-4 Yrs

The Preschool Creative Curriculum for 3–4-year-olds is a comprehensive, play-based learning program designed to support the growing independence, curiosity, and imagination of young learners. At this stage, children begin to engage more deeply in peer relationships, use more complex language, and explore the world with greater confidence. The curriculum balances intentional teaching with child-led exploration to promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Voluntary Prekindergarten

The VPK (Voluntary Prekindergarten) Creative Curriculum is a research–based, child-centered program designed to support the social, emotional, physical, and academic development of four-year-old children. Rooted in developmentally appropriate practices, the curriculum encourages young learners to explore, discover, and build essential school-readiness skills through hands-on, purposeful play.

It integrates all areas of early learning—including literacy, math, science, social studies, the arts, and social–emotional development, into engaging daily experiences. Teachers guide learning through themed studies, interactive centers, structured routines, and individualized instruction that meets each child at their developmental level.

Afterschool Care

Our Afterschool Program serves students in kindergarten through age 12, providing a safe, supportive space where kids can unwind, connect with friends, and get the help they need after the school day ends.

We offer homework support, healthy snacks, indoor and outdoor play, and a variety of activities that keep kids engaged and active. Whether your child needs a quiet spot to focus on assignments or just wants to burn off energy with their peers, our staff are there to make sure every kid feels seen and supported.

We primarily serve students from Metcalfe Elementary, but families from other schools are welcome if they're able to provide transportation. We're also open on many days when school is closed and offer summer programming, giving working parents the consistency and flexibility they need year-round.
